Inuyasha

Race: Hanyou, or Half Demon

Parents: Both are dead. His Dad was a full, dog demon, his Mom, a regular human

Siblings: His older, half brother, Sesshomaru

Apperance: Inuyasha has long, silvery-white hair, amber eyes, and kawaii doggy ears! He ALWAYS wear's his red hakama pants and a matching red haroi to go with it.

Personality: Inuyasha used to be cruel, and heartless, but since Kagome, and the rest of his friends came into his life, he got better.  Not to say he isn't mean, selfish, harsh, abrasive, easily annoyed/jealous, and blunt...but you have to love him for his sweet, sensitive, shy side!

Love Life: He supposedly loved Kikyou and she supposedly loved him because they were both loners, and they came to enjoy each other's company, but a devious demon named Naraku used the fact that they did not completely trust each other to kill Kikyou and have Inuyasha pinned to a tree for 50 years.  Now he has Kagome, and it seems he is falling for her...hard.  She's sweet, kind, caring, gentle, and trusting, something he was totally unused to.  Everything was going along fine until an even spector, named Urasue brought Kikyou back to life and now she only wanders earth because of her hatred for Inuyasha.  So now he is caught between two girls.  I think he should choose Kagome.  But hey, what do I know?

Age: ? But I am guessing he is in his sixties, because of the 50 years he was pinned to the tree, and how ever old he was before he was put to sleep, literally.  I heard from someone who reads the manga that he was only 15 years old!

Weapon: Tetsusaiga

Special Tidbit: He turns human on the new moon.  His hair turns black, his eyes darken to midnight blue, he loses his dog ears, claws, fangs, super speed, and strength.  Inuyasha hates this time of the month, when the moon is not in the sky, but he is forced to endure it, while fighting many, much more powerful demons.

Kagome

Race: Human

Parents: For all we know, all she has is her mom, who is very sweet and kind.  We only hear of her dad once, in the 48th episode, where she is thinking about her feelings for Inuyasha.

Sibilings: She has her younger brother, Souta, who is in 3rd grade.

Apperance: She has kinky, long black hair with a blue sheen, and big brown eyes.  She wears a high-cut sailor top with a red tie, and a short, green, plaited skirt.

Personality: Kagome is very kind, sweet, gentle, and concerned about everyone.  On the other hand, she can be intimidating, scary, mean, but she is also extremely smart, and can sometimes figure her way out of trouble.

Love Life: Kagome is deeply in love with Inuyahsa, but he continually, and unknowingly, breaks her heart every time he runs off with the dead miko, Kikyou.  But no matter what, her love will not fade, no matter how unbearable the pain, and she is always loyal and faithful.  Oh, also a slight problem.  Two other men like her in the Feudal Era.  Hojo Akitoki, Present Day Hojo's Ancestor, and Kouga, the strong, boisterous leader of the Demon Wolf Tribe, with three jewel shards.

Age: 15

Weapon: Bow and Arrow

Special Tidbit: She is the reincarnation of Kikyou, Inuyasha's past love, which helps with the interesting love triangle. Everyone thinks she is not as strong as her carnation because she has no training, yet she surprises them with her holy miko powers everyday.

Shippou

Race: Kitsune, or Fox Demon

Parents: They were killed by the Thunder Brothers.  Poor Shippou's father's pelt was worn as a belt by the Manten, thankfully, Inuyasha ran him through with his sword!

Sibilings: None, as far as we know

Appearance: Shippou has bright red hair, blue-green eyes, a big, bushy fox tail, tiny fox feet, and he has on tiny kid clothing.

Love Life: I think he develops a crush on a girl, but nothing too serious.

Age: Unknown

Weapon: Devious little tricks, and a giant top

Special Tidbit: Shippou can transform into anyone he pleases.  In one episode, when Inuyasha was missing Kagome, he transformed into her, but his plan was thwarted when Inuyasha spied a fox tail sprouting from her skirt! Man did he get a beating!

Miroku

Race: Human

Parents: Dead

Siblings: None, as far as I know

Appearance: He has short black hair pulled into a low ponytail, blue-purple eyes, purple robes, and a cloth with prayer beads around his right hand.

Personality: He is smart, resourceful, and kind, but is WAY perverted.

Love Life: It seems as if Miroku is interested in every girl he comes across, but he has his eyes on Sango. Too bad she thinks he is a filthy lecher...

Age: 18 to 19 years old

Weapon: Kazaana, or Wind Tunnel

Special Tidbits: Naraku cursed the male part of his family, to have a wind tunnel in their hands.  It would gradually become large and larger until it consumed its owner, and killed them.  Poor Miroku:(  The only way to break the curse is to kill Naraku, and so far, they haven't been able to do that, yet.

Sango

Race: Human

Parents: Dead

Sibilings: A younger, eleven year old brother named Kohaku

Apperance: Sango has long black hair and brown eyes. Her usual outfit consists of a long green skirt, a pink top, and sandals, but when she is slaying demons she wearing a black outfit with pink armor caps.

Personality: Kind, gentle, but is strong, determined, with a certain..flare

Love Life: She insists that she doesn't like Miroku, but her actions tell otherwise

Age: 17 to 18

Weapon: Hiraikotsu

Special Tidbit: Hiraikotsu is Sango's giant boomerang made of the bones of youkai(demon)

Sesshomaru

Race: Full Dog Demon

Parents: Dead

Siblings: Younger, half-demon brother, who he despises, Inuyasha.

Appearance: Long, white hair, piercing amber eyes, pointed elf ears, purple stripes on his cheeks, a crescent moon on his forehead, purple stripes on his hands, and he wears white clothing with a yellow and purple sash, black shoes, a large, fluffy boa, and a gray chain thingy.  (Whoa! That was hard!)

Personality: Very cold demeanor, brutal, vicious, heartless, devoid of emotion

Love Life: None!

Age: Unknow

Weapon: Demon Transform, and Tokijin

Special Tidbit: He was very, very heartless until he revived a young girl named Rin, who was killed by wolves.  She is very sweet and kind, and changed him, making him kinder, and fiercely protective of her (kind of like Inuyasha and Kagome, right?)

Rin

Race: Human

Parents: Dead

Siblings: None

Appearance: Short black hair, and big brown eyes. She has on a cute little dress but she is barefoot.

Personality: Playful, sweet, funny, kind, genuine

Love Life: None, except for her endearment of Sesshomaru

Age: 6 maybe?

Weapon: None, as far as I know

Special Tidbit: She was killed by Kouga's pack, but was revived by Tenseiga.  Now she follows Sesshomaru everywhere, and wants to be with him forever.

Kouga

Race: Full Wolf Demon

Parents: ?

Siblings: ?

Appearance: Long black hair pulled up into a ponytail, electric blue eyes, fand pointed elfish ears.  He wears armor with fur on it, and for "shoes" he has bandages on his feet.

Love Life: He was engaged to another Wolf Demon named Ayame, but once he found Kagome, he forgot all about her.  Too bad his love is one sided.

Age: ?

Weapons: Physical stuff, speed and strength he gained from Jewel Shards.

Special Tidbit: He is the leader of a Wolf Pack. They are closely knit, and when a horrible event occurs, such as when Kagura slaughters his pack, he goes crazy with grief and the need for revenge. 

Kikyou

Race: Human

Parents: ?

Siblings: Her younger sister, Kaede

Apperance: Kikyou has long, straight black hair, slitted brown eyes, and she always wears a long-sleeved white shirt, and puffy red pants.

Personality: In life, Kikyou showed no emotion and was very cold.  She was very independant, and kind towards other, but she rarely showed what she was thinking, so it was very hard to judge if she was angry or not.

Love Life: Inuyasha.  Fifty years ago, she fell in love with him, but since she didn't fully trust him, she let herself believe that it was Inuyasha who slashed her with his claws, causing her to pin him to a tree for fifty years.

Weapon: A bow and arrow

Age: 18 or so in life

Special Tidibt: Kikyou was brought back to life by a witch named Urasue.  She is made of baked clay, and she also holds a little bit of Kagome's soul to sustain life.  The only reason still clings to this world is her strong hatred for Inuyasha, and the fact her soul will not rest until she sees him dead.

Race: Hanyou

Siblings: None to my knowledge

Appearance: Long, kinky black hair, flaming red eyes, and thin eyebrows, giving him a slightly feminine look.  He has purple clothing with a sort of black vest, but usually he wears his snowy white baboon pelt.

Love Life: Before he became Naraku, he desired Kikyou

Age: Old!

Weapon: Trickery

Special Tidbit: He used to be a human named Onigumo who was a thief, but he got badly burned, and Kikyou found him and took care of him.  He began to desire Kikyou so much, but he could not move, so he let demons feast on his old body.  Then he formed Naraku.  Finally, he used his trickery to tear Inuyasha and Kikyou apart, thus becoming the major bad guy as the series progresses.
